“Sin will take you further than you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay, and make you pay more than you intended.”

There is a question underneath every struggle, every addiction, every cycle of defeat that the enemy never wants you to answer honestly: what happened to you, and where did it begin? Pastor Angel Luis Rosa opened the Restoration Series by going straight to the origin — not to bring condemnation, but to expose the lie at the root. Because you cannot be restored from something you were never shown. And what the enemy has been doing to humanity, he has been doing since Genesis.

Pastor Rosa made clear: GOD did not design you for defeat. HE breathed life into you with a purpose — dominion, fruitfulness, and a personal relationship driven by love, not fear. The fall did not change GOD’s heart toward you. It exposed what the enemy would spend all of history trying to rob from you: your identity, your confidence, and your access to THE FATHER.

Genesis 1:26 — NKJV

Pastor Angel Luis Rosa anchored the entire series in Genesis 1:26–28 NKJV, reminding the congregation that the Trinity itself was involved in the decision to create humanity. This was not an afterthought. This was a deliberate act of love, creativity, and intention. GOD made you in HIS image — not so you could barely survive, but so you could exercise stewardship, carry HIS presence, and reflect HIS nature to the world around you.

The word dominion appears twice in the opening passage. GOD never said “let man be dominated.” HE said let them have dominion. Pastor Rosa pressed this point with urgency: you are the temple of the HOLY SPIRIT. GOD breathed into man’s nostrils the breath of life — and that breath was never meant to carry shame. Religion tries to restore what only GOD can restore. Psychiatry, counseling, and human systems have all attempted to repair what only a relationship with JESUS can heal. The original design was paradise — and GOD’s plan is to get you back there.

The enemy did not invent something new in the Garden of Eden. He introduced a distortion. He took what GOD said — “you must not eat from this tree” — and twisted it into “you must not even touch it.” That is how the enemy has always operated: not by raw force, but by subtle addition, quiet misquote, and slow erosion of what GOD actually said. Pastor Rosa pointed to Genesis 2:16–17 NKJV and then Genesis 3:11 NKJV — when GOD asked Adam, “Who told you that you were naked?” That question still rings today. Who told you that you were too far gone? Who told you that you were unredeemable? Who told you that GOD cannot forgive you?

Pastor Rosa shared from his own testimony — a former drug addict who was told by counselors he would always be one. The enemy used that label to condemn him. But when he started believing what GOD says about him, everything changed. Shame, guilt, and fear are not part of GOD’s original design. They are the enemy’s tool to keep you hiding in the garden, to keep you away from THE FATHER’S presence, and to keep you from returning to the church that needs you and that you need. The arrival of shame in Genesis was not the arrival of truth — it was the arrival of the lie.

Genesis 3:11 — NKJV

People stay away from church not because GOD rejected them, but because the enemy convinced them they are not welcome, not worthy, not ready. Pastor Rosa’s message was the antidote to that lie. Come as you are. The Gathering is a hospital for the broken — not a museum for the perfect.

Before the first man ever sinned, GOD already had a plan to restore what would be broken. In Genesis 3:15 NKJV, GOD spoke prophetically to the serpent: HE will crush your head. That “HE” is JESUS. From the very moment sin entered the world, GOD announced the victory of the cross. The enemy never had the last word. Calvary had already been spoken into existence in the garden, thousands of years before it happened. That is how certain GOD was about your restoration.

Pastor Angel Luis Rosa closed his message with a declaration over everyone listening — in the room, and watching on Facebook: this is your season. Not next year. Not when things get better. Right now. You may be in a difficult marriage season, a broken family season, a season of financial pressure or personal failure. But GOD is a right-now GOD, and HIS plan for the Enough Is Enough — Part 1, Restoration Series has always been to get you back to where HE always intended you to be.

Whatever the enemy has been using to keep you stuck — old failures, old labels, old wounds — JESUS has already answered it at the cross. HIS mercies are new every morning. HIS plan for restoration is not a single event at an altar. It is a daily renewal, a journey back into the dominion and identity GOD breathed into you from the very beginning. Say it out loud: this is my season. Because it is.
